Spirit in the Hills is a mission founded by two congregations, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Marble Falls and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Austin.  All five pastors from these congregations serve this mission, with Pastor Danielle Moore Casey and Pastor Heidi Schwerdtfeger-Jones serving as lead pastors.

All are welcome at Spirit in the Hills.  We hope you are inspired in your faith journey through our flexible and creative worship style.  We embrace the joy of watching the Holy Spirit at work as we continue to grow and engage in ministry in this community.  We encourage our disciples to share their gifts and invite you to join in the joy of mission. We hope you are blessed by the Spirit today!

Spirit in the Hills Lutheran Church was recognized by the Southwestern Texas Synod Council as a Synodically Authorized Worshipping Community on May 30, 2008.
